Anaar Daana Film Poster
for Berlinale 2024

Film poster we designed for the short film- 'Anaar Daana' (Sour Candy). The film first premiered at Berlinale, a film festival held in Berlin, Germany in 2024.

 

The film is set in an old Jaipur haveli and we wanted the poster to depict the building and it's roots. Since the film revolves around kids and their first introduction with death in the family, we wanted to keep a crayon style illustration, perfectly illustrated by Ibrahim Rayintakath. We added our finishing touches by layouting and a custom type design, taking the motif from one of the doors in the haveli and incorporating that into the type to tie it all in together.
